• Complete the Digital Fingerprint Questionnaire if you need a background check completed in Canada by the RCMP.
• If you need a set of Ink Fingerprints & Digital Fingerprints, you only need to fill out the Digital Fingerprinting Questionnaire.

• You will need a Digital-Fingerprint-Based Check (from us) AND a Name-Based Check (from the Calgary Police).
• Complete Digital Fingerprint Questionnaire for Legal Name Change. Attend our office for your appointment. You get the results in the mail in approximately 3 to 6 weeks from the RCMP.
• Name-Based Checks expire after 30 days. Therefore, do not complete your Name-Based Check with the Calgary Police until AFTER you get the results of the Digital Fingerprints.

• Complete the Ink Fingerprinting Questionnaire if you need to send a set of Ink Fingerprints outside Canada for processing.
• In rare instances, some employers in Canada may ask you to provide them with ink fingerprints if they have the technology (and authority) to digitize the ink fingerprints in their office and submit them to the RCMP electronically for processing.
